What is Bell Captain?

The Bell Captain system includes the Bell Captain door phone, special Bell Captain DECT cordless handset(s) and the Bell Captain base station. These matched components have been designed and tested in Australia for ease of installation and greater reliability.

Pressing the illuminated bell button on the Bell Captain door phone chimes the base station and calls you according to your wishes on the cordless handset on your mobile or another telephone make an announcement or have Bell Captain take a message. Never miss a visitor, guest or potential customer again. Bell Captain pays for itself in no time.

When set to intercom mode, anyone ringing the front door bell triggers Bell Captain's cordless handset to chime. You answer the handset and speak to the person at the front door on an intercom call. Bell Captain also gives you the freedom to leave your property and still answer the door. In external mode the call is diverted by Bell Captain instead to a nominated telephone number your mobile phone, or perhaps a neighbour's or family member's telephone number.

Easy Installation

Installing Bell Captain can be as simple as 123

1. Install the battery into the cordless handset.
2. Connect the base station to power and a telephone service.
3. Connect the door phone to power.

More Information

No other connection is required as the Bell Captain door phone connects cordlessly to the base station. The door phone is designed to reuse existing door bell wiring where a power point is not available near the door. Simply remove the old bell from its wiring and connect up Bell Captain.

Bell Captain is supplied with one cordless handset. Another three handsets can be added to expand your Bell Captain system. With additional handsets you or your staff members can intercom each other, transfer telephone calls and even create conference calls. Bell Captain may have started off as a door bell, but is today a complete super DECT telephone system offering a powerfully unique blend of door phone and telephone functions.
