PhoneEasy IP Console now Metaswitch v7.0 Certified

applications software designer and developer for the global telecommunications

announced that it’s PhoneEasy IP Console telephony management software has
successfully completed higher accreditation interoperability testing. PhoneEasy
IP Console (Version 2.0.2) was tested in a Metaswitch lab facility and is
verified as compatible with Metaswitch Release 7.0
PhoneEasy IP Console complements the Metaswitch platform
through the provision of Unified Communications capabilities to the receptionists
or department answering position’s desktop. The PhoneEasy IP Console operates
as a SIP User Agent and integrates Telephony, E-mail, SMS Text and Calendar Mining
into one single application. PhoneEasy IP Console will be showcased at the
Metaswitch conference in
PhoneEasy
IP Console includes all the benefits of a hardware console, but places it all
on the receptionists PC screen allowing the receptionist to manage incoming and
outgoing calls with just the click of a mouse, providing detail about who is
calling or the person you are calling. PhoneEasy IP Console displays Presence status
for extensions in your office, Calendar mining from Microsoft Exchange Server
and the ability to dial Microsoft Outlook and Lotus contacts. PhoneEasy eliminates
time wasted trying to call people who are in meetings or out of the office.
PhoneEasy also sets up conferences, provides call back reminders and logs all
call details.
